Chapter Twenty-one Dāvāgni-moksa-vipra-patni-darcana Lord Krsna Extinguishes the Forest Fire and Reveals Himself to the Brāhmana's Wives

Translation
Sri Nārada said: As Balarāma and the gopas intently played, all the cows, hungry for more grass, went far into the forest.

Translation
When to bring them back the gopa boys went to Mu 24jātavi forest, a great forest fire, like the fire at the end of the universe, suddenly flared up.

Followed by the cows, and calling out "Save us! Save us!", the frightened gopas took shelter of Krsna and Balarāma.

Seeing that His friends were afraid of the fire, Krsna, the master of all yoga powers, said to them, "Close your eyes. Don't be afraid."
