O king, If I had as many tongues as there are hairs on my body, I could still not properly describe Śrī Hari's great and glorious qualities.

Verse text

nabhaḥ patanti vihagā yathā hy ātma-samaṁ nṛpa tathā kṛṣṇa-gatiṁ divyaṁ vadantīha vipaścitaḥ

Synonyms

nabhaḥ in the sky ; patanti go ; vihagāḥ birds ; yathā as ; hi certainly ; ātma self ; samam equal ; nṛpa O king ; tathā so ; kṛṣṇa of Lord Kṛṣṇa ; gatim activities ; divyam transcendental ; vadanti say ; iha here ; vipaścitaḥ the wise.

Translation

O king, as different birds have different capacities to fly in the sky, so the wise philosophers have different capacities to describe Lord Kṛṣṇa's transcendental activities.
